Signal48 monitors corporate expansion announcements globally — new manufacturing plants, logistics hubs, R&D centres, data centres, office expansions, and new market entries. We track both the announcement and, where possible, confirmed facility openings.
Every signal is sourced from multiple independent feeds and cross-referenced before publication:
Every signal carries a confidence score (0–100%) reflecting how well-sourced and independently verified the announcement is. Scores above 90% indicate multiple corroborating sources with official confirmation. Scores below 70% indicate single-source announcements that are plausible but unconfirmed.
The dataset is reviewed and updated 48 Hours. New signals are added every Monday morning (UTC). The "Synced" timestamp in the top filter bar shows when your browser last fetched the live sheet.
The map defaults to showing the latest available data. Signals are grouped by country — clicking a country dot with multiple signals shows a ranked list sorted by investment size. The most recent deal per company is shown first. Historical signals remain searchable via the Period filter (Pro).
Where announced in local currency, amounts are converted to USD using the exchange rate at announcement date. Investment figures represent announced commitments, not necessarily capital already deployed.
